Haryana govt to withdraw cases registered during the Corona pandemic

Chandigarh, 23 November: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the process of withdrawing FIRs registered against people who violated the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) issued by the Central and State Government during the Corona pandemic to curb the spread of the virus will be initiated.

He said, so far, 8275 FIRs were registered for violating the rules, in which a total of 14 thousand 127 people were arrested.

While talking to journalists in Chandigarh on Thursday, the Chief Minister said that maximum 1030 FIRs were registered in Gurugram district. 814 FIRs were registered in Jhajjar, 765 in Faridabad, 545 in Karnal and 646 in Rohtak. Withdrawal of all these FIRs will provide great relief to the people.
