Lucknow, 19 November: The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court has refused to grant any relief to SP spokesperson Anurag Singh Bhadoria in the matter of passing indecent remarks on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
A division bench of Justice Ramesh Sinha and Justice Renu Aggarwal of the Lucknow bench rejected the challenge to Bhadoria ‘s FIR registered at Hazratganj police station and his demand for a stay on the arrest.
The court said that the way for the petitioner to get anticipatory bail is still open. Smajwadi Party spokesperson Anurag Bhadoria ‘s trouble does not seem to die down after making indecent remarks against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his mentor former MP late Mahant Avaidyanath. An FIR has been registered against SP spokesperson Anurag Singh Bhadoria in Lucknow. Since then Bhadauria is absconding and the police is also conducting raids in search of him.
On Monday also, the Lucknow police raided eight possible places in three cities in search of the accused. In Lucknow, DCP Central Aparna Rajat Kaushik told that the mobile phone of the accused is switched off. Possible locations have been searched. Soon the accused will be arrested. With the help of surveillance, the police team is tracing the location of Anurag. The police have also questioned some of Anurag’s close friends. Information has also been given about the accused at his Mumbai flat.
BJP state spokesperson Hero Bajpai had lodged an FIR against Anurag Bhadoria at Hazratganj police station.
