Bhopal, 19 February: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while renaming Hoshangabad district as Narmadapuram said that the banks of the holy river Narmada and the cities situated on its banks will be developed naturally, thus, we will not allow cement concrete forests to be built there. Along with this, full care will be taken for cleanliness of Narmada water.
On Friday evening, the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh, along with his wife Sadhana Singh performed โaartiโ and paid obeisance worship to ancient holy river Narmada on the occasion of Magha Shukla Saptami Narmada Jayanti at Sethani Ghat in Hoshangabad district of MP.
Complete sewage treatment project work soon
The Chief Minister has instructed the municipality to complete the pending sewage treatment project of Hoshangabad city at the earliest. Dirty water should not be found in Narmada water.
Will build super specialty hospital
The Chief Minister announced that the Hoshangabad District Hospital will be upgraded and made into a Super Specialty Hospital. Dussehra ground will also be developed. An auditorium will also be built in the city.
Take action against goons, otherwise I will take action against you
The Chief Minister sent strict instructions to Superintendent of Police (SP) Hoshangabad district that the police should take action against miscreants, mineral mafias else I will take action against you.
He ordered that lodge FIR against chit fund companies. It is not enough to register also their property be auctioned. Those who commit crimes against daughters should be punished severely.
I will plant one tree every day from today
The Chief Minister said that I have taken a pledge on Narmada Jayanti today that I will plant a tree daily for one year from today. Today I have planted one tree each in Amarkantak and Hoshangabad. He urged the public to plant trees at least once a year.
