Raebareli, 14 February: Cyber ​​mafias sitting in Jharkhand demanded money from doctors in the name of jobs, whose audio has created a stir soon after it went viral. Cyber ​​police started investigating the matter, in which it was found that all the phone calls were made from Jamtara in Jharkhand.
As per the information, under the National Health Mission, 24 posts of allopathic and dental doctors are to be recruited in the health department. The interview for which was held on February 7. A committee of ADM Finance and Revenue Amrita Singh, Senior Treasury Officer Bhavana Srivastava, CMO Dr Naveen Chandra and DPM Rakesh Singh was formed. For which 26 candidates gave interview for one post of dental disease, while 27 candidates appeared for 23 posts of MBBS.
Before its result was declared, cyber thugs have also become active after the interview. Cyber ​​criminals started demanding money from the candidates by calling on mobile to include their name in the selection list.
According to the information, so far 15 people have received calls, whose audio also went viral. After which the CMO requested the SP to take action. On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Dr Yashveer Singh, the cyber police started the probe.
The people who called the candidates and demanded money are residents of Jamtara in Jharkhand. They have also given the numbers of bank accounts. The police is also investigating the data of these numbers. A candidate Dr Virendra Kumar received a call on his mobile after the interview. The caller told his name as Karm Kumar.
In the viral audio, he is saying that he is calling from the CMO office Raebareli. You have applied for the appointment. You have failed in the interview, he also asked Virendra questions to pass.
The man posing as Karm Kumar said that the file has come to us after the interview. If you want to pass then send money. Deposit money in the bank account. Your seat will be confirmed.
As per the information, similarly, others are also being cheated by calling them.
Additional SP Sanjeev Kumar Sinha said that a case of cyber fraud has come to light in the district. Investigation so far has confirmed that the mobile number concerned is from Jharkhand Jamtara.
