New Delhi, 7 October: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed gratitude to those who congratulated him on completing 23 years as the head of the government and said that he will not rest until the goal of developed India is achieved.

Prime Minister Modi posted in a series on Instagram and said that heartfelt gratitude to all those who gave me blessings and good wishes on completing 23 years as the head of the government. On 7 October 2001, I took the responsibility of serving as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. It was the greatness of my party, BJP, that it entrusted the responsibility of leading the state administration to a humble worker like me.

He said that the progress of India’s development has ensured that our country is being viewed with extreme optimism at the global level. The world is eager to connect with us, invest in our people and be a part of our success. At the same time, India is working extensively to tackle global challenges, whether it is climate change, improving healthcare, achieving Sustainable Development Goals or much more.

Prime Minister Modi said that a lot has been achieved in the last few years, but still a lot remains to be done. The learnings in these 23 years have enabled us to take pioneering initiatives that have made an impact nationally and globally. I assure my fellow Indians that I will continue to work tirelessly with even more zeal in the service of the people. I will not rest until our collective goal of a developed India is realised.
