If ‘Sanatan Dharma’ is safe then everyone in the world is safe: CM Yogi

Ayodhya, 20 December; Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in Ashtottarshat 108 Shrimad Bhagwat Paath and Panch Narayan Mahayagna organized at Asharfi Bhawan Temple on Friday.

Chief Minister Yogi offered oblations in the Mahayagna with Vedic chanting, wishing happiness, peace and prosperity to the people of the state.

During this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing the gathering, said that Sanatan Dharma is the national religion of India. It is the duty of all of us to keep it safe.

He said that positivity and peace are spread in the society through religion and culture. Referring to the incidents of attack on historical temples, the Chief Minister said that the clan and lineage of those who used to destroy these holy places were destroyed.

Chief Minister Yogi said that the people of Aurangzeb’s family are driving rickshaws today. This is their plight. If they had done good deeds and had not destroyed temples, would they have been in such a situation? He said that world peace can be established only through Sanatan Dharma. This is an eternal religion, which has been going on since the beginning of creation.

Double engine government working with coordination of heritage and development – CM Yogi

The Chief Minister said that there should be better coordination between heritage and development. Referring to the development work being done in Ayodhya, he said that the double engine government has worked to restore the glory of Ayodhya under the guidance of saints. The construction of the grand temple of Ramlala and the development of Ayodhya Dham is a living example of this.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that this yagya is not only a means of self-purification and environmental purification, but it also protects Sanatan Dharma and spreads positive energy in the society. He said that this event is being held in the sacred region of Maa Saryu and the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, which makes this yagna even more special.

The Chief Minister said that India is India as long as Sanatan Dharma is safe here. He stressed that everyone will have to work together for the protection and promotion of this religion.

He also said that for ages, Sanatan Dharma has kept itself alive by maintaining harmony with the universe.

He said that in future we have to be vigilant to protect it from any kind of distortions or anomalies. India is India as long as Sanatan Dharma is safe inside India. To protect it, we all have to work together for its preservation. This is an eternal religion, a religion that has gone along with the universe. It is possible that some anomalies may have come up in some period, but we will correct the anomaly by following the path shown by great men from time to time through our sages, saints. We will not let the entire country and the entire religion suffer the mistakes of internal divisions, internal divisions, anywhere. We will have to move forward with this resolution.

Chief Minister Yogi said that what is happening in Bangladesh today. What happened in Pakistan. What happened in Afghanistan before this? I want to ask those people who were those people who destroyed those points of pride associated with Sanatan Dharma in the country and why did they do it, what was the intention behind it. The intention behind it was to make the entire earth a hell by carrying out their misdeeds.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that those who desecrated holy places like Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, Harihar land of Kalki avatar in Sambhal, the holy temple of Goddess Saraswati, the presiding deity of knowledge in Bhoj, do not exist today. This is the result of their sins.

He said that we have to ensure that no such situations arise in future, which may cause insult to our religious places.”

Chief Minister Yogi congratulated the organizers of Panchnarayan Mahayagna

Chief Minister thanked Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Pujya Swami Shankaracharya Maharaj and his team for organizing the Panchnarayan Mahayagna.

He said that this event is not only important from the religious point of view, but it also spreads positive energy in the society. He expressed confidence that the virtue of this yagna will be attained by all the Indians.

In this Mahayagna, the head of the event Asharfi Bhawan Temple Mahant Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Shridharacharya Maharaj, Minister Suryapratap Shahi, Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) JPS, Municipal Corporation Mayor Mahant Girishpati Tripathi, Digambar Akhara Mahant Ram Lakhan Das, many representatives and senior officials related to religion and spirituality were present.
