If strict measures are taken, the third wave of coronavirus can be avoided: K Vijay Raghvan

New Delhi, 07 May: Principal Scientific Advisor (PSA) to the Central Government, K Vijay Raghavan has said that the country can survive the third wave if the Centre and the states take tough measures to prevent the coronavirus infection.

In the press conference held on Friday, Vijay Raghavan said that the wave of corona infection depends on the measures being taken in the field. If strict steps have been taken at all places, it may be that the third wave may not have come. But it all depends on the implementation of effective measures to deal with the corona.

It is worth mentioning that Scientific Advisor Vijay Raghavan had predicted about hitting of the third wave of corona infection across the country.

He said that after the second wave, a third wave can also come in the country, for which everyone should be prepared. But it did not say when and how effective this wave would be.
