Lucknow, 15 November: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak on said that madarsas involved in illegal activities will be shut down.
In Uttar Pradesh, on the instructions of the Yogi government, the work of survey of madarsas has been completed. During the survey, it has been found that about 8,000 unrecognized madarsas are being run in the state, in which more than 16,000 children study.
It may be noted that the maximum number of unrecognized madarsas were found in Moradabad district.
According to the information, there are a total of 16,513 madarsas recognized by the UP Madarsa Education Council. At the same time, a large number of madarsas are flourishing in the state without recognition.
Pathak, who also holds the Health portfolio, said that there is no need to panic about dengue. Dengue is steadily decreasing in the state and is totally under control.
The Deputy CM said that a separate hospital has been designated for dengue patients in every district. He said that as per the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, through video conferencing, dreaded criminals will be produced in the court from jails. This will also reduce government expenditure and burden on the police.
He said that the BJP has established the rule of law in the state but the Opposition is not liking it thus making baseless statements.
