Ayodhya, 20 Jan: The entire city of Ayodhya is filled with holy zeal as the consecration event approaches in a few days. The new PSU bank branch, which opened on Thursday at a building on Ram Path here, has been dubbed the ‘Ramjanmabhoomi’ branch.

=Ramjanmabhoomi Path is a renovated route that leads to the Ram temple site from Ram Path.

The bank’s branch office, which is nearby, has been decorated with elegant lampposts and canopies with claddings on the side walls, and a large banner put on the wall depicts an imposing image of the Ram temple as well as the bank name. Another PSU bank has set up a massive hoarding outside the reconstructed Ayodhya Dham railway station that says ”Ayodhya Nagari mey aapka swagat hai.

It features shadows of the Ram Temple, the metropolitan skyline, and Lord Ram holding his bow. In a holy city, devotion to the god is so strong that even business is affected by the spiritual atmosphere. Images of the majestic temple appear on visiting cards, posters, calendars, and even signage.

Almost every firm that puts up posters in the city depicts the Ram Temple in some form.

An advertising business has placed a sign in front of the new train station building offering for space. However, it is not typical advertising space, since it includes a graphic representation of Lord Ram and the new temple, as well as the hashtag ‘#AyodhyaKiGarima’. Inside the building’s food plaza, a billboard behind the counter features an image of a temple. Next to it, there is a poster with an image of Ram.

“The entire Ayodhya, including temples, buses, streets, and even mobile phone caller tunes, is becoming ‘Rammay’ (immersed in the spirit of Lord Ram),” said Ajitesh Shukla, who works at a guest home near Asharfi Bhawan.

BSNL, a public sector organization, has placed a billboard greeting visitors to ‘Prabhu Sri Ram ki Pawan Nagari Ayodhya’ beside a wall adjacent to the Ramjanmabhoomi path. However, such banners or posters are not just found along major thoroughfares such as Ram Path. The temple picture may be found on the boards of practically every business, as well as in the lobby areas of hotels and lodges.

Prabharaj Palace, a lodge that built a few months ago in the Begumpura region, displays a banner-sized poster of the Ram Temple in its entrance.
