Police have arrested two clever thieves who carried out this sensational theft of watches worth crores of rupees. Both the thieves are active members of Interstate Chadar Gang (Ghorasahan village in Bihar ). The special thing is that they carried out the crime after doing recce and after committing the crime they went to Nepal.

DCP Trans Hindon Nimish Dashrath Patil told the media that on the night of August 10, unknown thieves broke into Sai Creation showroom in the police station Indirapuram area and stole watches worth crores of rupees. The thieves stole 671 watches of expensive international brands. The cost of which was three crore rupees. The special thing was that the thieves carried out the crime in a sensational manner by uprooting the shutter behind the showroom with a sheet.

Patil said that today Santosh Kumar Jaiswal and Rohit Kumar Paswan have been arrested from Kanavani Pushta Road in front of Chhijarsi Cut. 125 watches of international brands have been recovered from their possession.

During police interrogation, accused Santosh Kumar Jaiswal told that he is originally from Ghorasahan Bihar and sells fried chicken and fish on a cart in Ghorasahan, which is his ancestral work, but due to not getting much profit in it, he got involved in crime. There are many gangs of thieves in Ghorasahan which carry out incidents of theft in various states of the country. Santosh started working with Sachin and Siraj after coming in contact with them. Earlier, with Siraj’s gang, he had stolen mobiles by removing the shutters of a mobile showroom in Jwalapur Haridwar in Uttarakhand state by putting a sheet on it. In which 09 members of his gang were arrested, out of which Santosh was absconding and a cash reward of one lakh rupees was also announced for his arrest. After being released from jail, these people again formed a gang in which Santosh, Rohit Paswan, Siraj, Jitendra alias Jeetan Sahni, Roshan, Rahul Paswan and Jeetan Paswan of Sitamarhi of Ghorasahan and Sachin, Pramod and Asami alias Santosh of Nepal started committing incidents of theft in various states of the country by putting a sheet on it.

Accused Rohit Paswan told that he is also originally from Ghorasahan and used to sell chicken and fish on a cart. Rohit and his brother Rahul Paswan used to commit theft in the gang of Naeem Ustad and Vijay who were from Ghorasahan Bihar. They had committed theft in Thana Nalasopara district Thane Maharashtra by breaking the shutter of a mobile showroom by using a sheet in which 09 members of their gang were arrested. After being released from jail, both the brothers joined the gang of Sachin and Siraj and started committing thefts.

On grilling, both the accused told that we have a gang that steals by putting sheets outside the showroom and breaking the shutters. They roam around the country and commit thefts in different states. Sachin, Pramod and Asami alias Santosh are residents of Nepal in their gang, who mostly go to Nepal with the stolen goods after the theft.

Ghorasahan is also located on the Nepal border. After the theft, all the people mostly leave their homes and live in Nepal and sell all the goods there and divide the money among themselves. The member who does the recce and brings everyone and bears their expenses till the theft is done gets a bigger share. Before committing the crime, they rent a room around the city where the crime is to be committed and start doing labour or painting work etc. After gradually identifying the shop after doing recce, they call the rest of their members. Before committing the crime, they leave their mobiles in the room itself.
