Prime Minister Inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 35 development projects.
Varanasi, 23 February: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday sounded the trumpet of Lok Sabha elections by directly targeting the opposition parties from his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. The Prime Minister attacked former Congress President and MP Rahul Gandhi and said that the ‘Yuvraj’ is saying that the youth of UP are drug addicts. What kind of language is this? While abusing Modi, they are now venting out their frustration on the youth of UP, who have lost their senses and are calling my children of UP and Kashi as drug addicts.Â
After inaugurating the Banas Kashi Complex in Karkhianv Industrial Area, Prime Minister Modi gifted 36 development projects worth more than Rs 13,202 crore to the entire Purvanchal including Varanasi in a huge public meeting. While doing a road show in an open jeep at the public meeting venue, the Prime Minister also interacted with the beneficiaries of various schemes of the government. In the public meeting, the Prime Minister said that the youth of UP is achieving the pinnacle of hard work.
The Prime Minister said that nepotism, corruption and appeasement held UP back. The previous government kept UP sick. Today, when UP is changing and the youth here are writing their future, then these people of nepotism are getting irritated.Â
Taking a dig at the Indi alliance in Bhojpuri, Prime Minister Modi said, ‘This is Banaras, everyone is a guru here, the maneuver of the Indi alliance did not work here. Not just Banaras, entire UP knows that the goods are the same and the packing is new.”
The Prime Minister said that this time he will have to struggle a lot to save the bail. He said with full confidence that today UP has decided to give all the seats to Modi. Modi’s third term is going to be the most intense term.
He said that every economic and social sector of India will be at its peak. India moved up from 11th position to 5th position. Now in the third term, India will become the strongest power in the world.Â
Referring to the schemes to be launched, the Prime Minister said that the country is going to be rejuvenated. I will make India the engine of developed India. The government is working to benefit Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. In future, the time taken from Banaras to Kolkata is going to be almost halved. Modern facilities will be available on these roads. Kashi will become an important city not only in UP but also in the country.Â
The Prime Minister said that in the coming days, Kashi will give the knowledge of Make in India. The National Complex of Kashi will be ready in the coming five years. Due to which the youth will benefit a lot. Weavers will also be provided support. A new medical college is about to be built. Today, health facilities are being strengthened by inaugurating machines worth several crores. The rapid development of Kashi will not stop.
The Prime Minister said that 10 years ago the people of Kashi made us their MP, now we have become completely Banarasi.Â
The Prime Minister said that the difference between the earlier government and our government is that we work to make a self-reliant India whereas the earlier governments were dependent on other countries for every necessary thing. The country cannot become self-reliant because of this. ‘Modi’s guarantee’ means guarantee to fulfill the guarantee.Â
Referring to the Amul plant inaugurated today, the Prime Minister said that before coming here, he got the opportunity to talk to the cattle rearing sisters at the Banas Dairy Plant. The sisters of the farmer family were given an indigenous breed of Gir cow two-three years ago. The aim was to increase information about better breed indigenous cows in Purvanchal. Farmers and animal herders should get benefits. Today the number of Gir cows here has reached around three hundred and fifty. Earlier, where a normal cow used to give 5 liters of milk, a Gir cow gives 15 liters of milk. Due to this, these sisters are earning additional income of thousands of rupees every month. Our sisters have started becoming Lakhpati Didi. This is a great inspiration for the 10 crore sisters associated with self-help groups.
In the public meeting, State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed and congratulated Prime Minister Modi by presenting him Angavastra and the idol of Kamdhenu. Meanwhile, Banas Dairy Chairman Shankarbhai Choudhary welcomed the Prime Minister by presenting him a turban, shawl and an idol of Kamdhenu.Â
On this occasion, the Prime Minister also gave certificates of authorized users of GI products to five artisans of GI products, which included Jamaluddin Ansari, Shrikant Mishra, Satya Singh, Amrita Singh and Siddharth Maurya. Prime Minister Modi also visited Banas Dairy before coming to the public meeting.
