San Francisco, November 27: The Twitter board has decided to close inactive accounts not posting or log in for six months. The board has warned all such account holders that if they are unable to log in or post any before December 11, then all their accounts will be banned.

A Twitter spokesperson said that initially accounts of account holders who are registered outside the US will be closed. Such account holders are also being identified, who are able to log in, but do not post anything on the platform. He has said that the basic purpose of this process is to make Twitter better.
