Phnom Penh, 12 Nov: The murals and other heritage structures related to Ramayan in Cambodia will be protected by India. Indian Vice-president Jagdeep Dhankhad and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen held discussions and signed four agreements. Dhankhad is on Cambodia’s visit to participate in the ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit in the capital city of Phnom Penh.

The two emphasised the need for strengthening bilateral relations and common heritage and cultural similarities. Dhankhad will also visit the Prohm temple in Angkor and will inaugurate the Hall of Dancers, which has been rejuvenated recently, with the help of the Indian Archaeological Department.
