Delhi, 11 January: Indian passport holders can now enjoy the benefits of hassle-free travel to 62 countries, including popular destinations such as Oman and Qatar, without the need for a visa.
This was revealed by the Henley Passport Index 2024, which ranks the Indian passport at 80. This means that Indians can access these 62 countries either through visa-free entry or by obtaining a visa on arrival.
However, it is worth noting that the strongest passports in the world belong to countries like France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore, and Spain, as their citizens can travel to a whopping 194 countries without the need for a visa.
Other top-ranking countries include Finland, South Korea, Sweden, and Austria. On the other hand, the United States ranks seventh on the list with 188 countries offering visa-free or visa-on-arrival options for its citizens.
