ISIS terrorist Rizwan Ali arrested from Pune ahead of 15 Aug celebrations

New Delhi, 9 August: Before Independence Day, the Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested Rizwan Ali, a terrorist of ISIS module. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had announced a reward of three lakh rupees on him.

According to the information given by the Special Cell of Delhi Police, he is a resident of Daryaganj. Police has also recovered weapons from him.

According to Delhi Police (Special Cell) DCP Pratiksha Godara, arrested Rizwan is the most notorious terrorist of ISIS’s Pune module. Before Rizwan, Pune Police and NIA have arrested many terrorists of Pune module, but he was absconding for a long time by dodging the investigation agencies.

Police said investigation has also revealed that the terrorists of Pune module had also done recce of many VVIP areas of Delhi and Mumbai. Rizwan was constantly on the radar of NIA and was being searched for a long time. At the time of his arrest, a .32 bore revolver and 3 cartridges were recovered from him.
