Jahangirpuri riot: IFSO unit to recover deleted data from accused’s phones

New Delhi, 21st April: The Crime Branch of Delhi Police, which is probing the Jahangirpuri violence case in North West district, suspects that the accused have deleted the data from their mobile phones. Therefore, the police have handed over the investigation of these mobile phones to the Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO).

This unit will now investigate the matter and find out when and which data was deleted from these mobiles. Not only this, the police will also get these deleted data.

IFSC Unit is a special unit of Cyber โ€‹โ€‹Crime of Delhi Police. This unit has some such software, with the help of which Delhi Police can also restore the deleted data from the phone.

In fact, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police, which is involved in the investigation of the case, wants to know that what is the connection between the arrested accused and which of the accused contacted each other during the violence and who did contact before and after the violence. .

9 out of 23 arrested have criminal record

After checking the background of the accused, it was observed that out of the 23 arrested accused, 9 had a previous criminal record. Every effort was made by the police to stop the violence and CCTV is being examined at present. Several police teams are engaged in nabbing the identified suspects to investigate into conspiracy to commit violence

According to the police involved in the probe of the case, the way suddenly about one and a half thousand people reached the spot with full preparation, it is feared that the incident has been carried out under the conspiracy. However, the police are investigating the matter keeping all angles in mind.

Not only this, after controlling the violence, when the police started investigation and started taking CCTV footage from the surroundings, it came to know that many CCTV wires installed in the area have been cut while many have also been broken. It points to a conspiracy itself. This meant that the accused also cut and broke the CCTV wires under the conspiracy, so that the police could not get any clue of them and the police could not reach them.
