Jailed AAP MP Sanjay Singh’s wife Anita takes charge of LS polls in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, 13 March: After the imprisonment of Sanjay Singh, who was a big face of Aam Aadmi Party in Uttar Pradesh, his wife Anita Singh has taken charge of the Lok Sabha elections. Anita Singh along with Dilip Pandey, who came from New Delhi as Chief Whip, held a meeting with party officials at the state office on election strategy.

Aam Aadmi Party is considering fielding its candidates in Uttar Pradesh for the Lok Sabha elections. In such a situation, all the district presidents of the state, presidents of all the cells and state officials were called to the state office at Patrakarpuram on Wednesday.

This meeting was addressed by Dilip Pandey, State President Sabhajit and Sanjay Singh’s wife Anita Singh. Anita Singh while instilling enthusiasm in the party workers said that attacks are happening one after the other. ED, CBI action is being initiated against whoever is raising his voice in the country.

“In such a situation, Aam Aadmi Party is thinking of fielding its candidates. Party workers will fight for the common people. Any worker who wishes to contest elections should apply. Those who ask for tickets from the society will also be given full respect,” she stressed.
