Gorakhpur, 28 November: Gita Press, the organization that publishes the world’s most religious books, will soon have Japanese machines equipped with modern technologies. Its value is being said to be five crores.
After the installation of Japanese machines, the number of books published every day will not only increase, but books will also get more beautiful appearance. The machines will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Lalmani Tiwari, Product Manager, Gita Press, said that to enhance the quality of publication of books, a printing machines worth Rs five crore is being imported from Japan. These machines will be the publication of magazines and books in four colours.
He informed that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the machines in January.
Gita Press showroom may be established in Ram temple premises
The Gita Press management has demanded from the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that permission be given to Gita Press to set up a showroom in the Ram temple complex in Ayodhya.
The Chief Minister has asked the Ayodhya administration to send a request letter in this regard so that further action can be taken.
Demand to free Kalyan from handling charge
Trustee Devidayal Aggarwal and Product Manager Lalmani Tiwari appealed to the Chief Minister to abolish the handling charge being taken by the post office for sending Kalyan Patrika.
It is noteworthy that about eight to 10 thousand copies are sent from the registry or bookpost in a day. The post office is also in the premises of Gita Press but it has neither enough space nor staff to keep the magazine with them.
Hence, Gita Press has provided additional space and resources on campus to help the Department of Posts. The work of dispatch of welfare is done from there itself.
2.30 lakh copies of ‘Kalyan’ are sold every month
‘Kalyan’, the popular magazine of Gita Press, sells 2.30 lakh copies every month. The previously stated figures of sales do not include the sale of the popular religious magazine ‘Kalyan’.
More than 50,000 books are sold everyday
Lalmani Tiwari, production manager of Gita Press, said, “We sell over 50,000 books every day. No publishing house sells so many books in the world. The highest demand in religious books till date is for the Ramcharit Manas”.
