Badaun, 22 March: The police presented Javed, accused of the murder of two real brothers, in the CJM court on Friday. The court has sent the accused to jail for 14 days judicial custody. Javed was caught by the mob on Thursday on charges of murder near the Satellite Bus Stand of Baradari police station area of Bareilly district. Its video went viral on social media.
The police took the accused into custody and took him to Badaun district, where they interrogated him for several hours. Different types of statements have come out in the viral video of Javed. In the viral video, Javed was saying that he was not involved in the incident. He reached the spot after people called. He also has the phone recording.
Javed’s language appeared to have changed. During police interrogation, Javed told that his brother Sajid was mentally ill. He often became angry when his health deteriorated. Sajid’s health had deteriorated even on the day of the incident. After that he committed the murder.
Javed told the police that he had also consumed rat poison to commit suicide. He was also treated at Dargahs. Police are deployed for the protection of the victim’s family.
