Lucknow, February 10: 12-year-old Kumari Lagan Lakshakar, brand ambassador of Jhansi, district of Uttar Pradesh, met Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya at the Janata Darshan program on Monday and sought cooperation in her upcoming plans.
Kumari Lagan told the Deputy Chief Minister about herself that she has got 21 gold medals in eight different sports in sport tournaments.
She has won gold medals in Yoga, Gymnastics, Taekwondo, Boxing, Judo, Jeet Kunedo, Karate and Swimming.
Kumari Lagan also told that at the international level too, she has increased the pride of the country by receiving three gold medals and one silver medal. The first gold medal was won during class six in Kunedo Martial Arts.
Giving information about her upcoming plans, she said that she is currently the brand ambassador of Jhansi district.
At the same time, she wants to represent Uttar Pradesh on the world stage. She also has a strong desire to become the brand ambassador of the state. One day she wants to see Uttar Pradesh’s name at the top of the sports table.
However, hearing about her ambitious plan, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad assured to get all possible help from the government as per her demands.
