Chandigarh, June 07: The slapgate that happened with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kangana Ranaut elected from Mandi Lok Sabha constituency of Himachal Pradesh at Chandigarh airport was planned. Since the woman constable was posted there, she already knew that Kangana would enter from this gate, due to which she was already present there.
Meanwhile, there is a competition among those who support the woman constable and boost her morale.
When Kangana Ranaut was going through the scanner at Chandigarh airport on Thursday evening while going to Delhi, the woman constable slapped her during the search. After this, the woman constable has been suspended and further action has been started. The woman constable named Kulwinder Kaur is originally from Kapurthala. She got married in Jammu about six years ago and Kulwinder Kaur’s husband is also in CISF. She has been on duty at Chandigarh airport for the last two and a half years.
Kulwinder Kaur’s brother Sher Singh is associated with the Kisan Union. He released a video calling her a brave sister and investigated Kangana Ranaut’s dope test. Sher Singh said that Kulwinder was on duty on the scanner. Sher Singh claimed that Kangana misbehaved during the investigation and the matter escalated.
After the Kangana Ranaut incident, many singers and rappers of Punjab released songs within just two hours. They were made viral on social media. Shivraj Singh Bains, a businessman from Mohali district of Punjab, has announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh to Kulwinder Kaur. Canada-based Punjabi Ranjit Singh has announced to honor the woman constable and give a reward of Rs 5 lakh. Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Paramdeep Singh Baidwan has also announced to honor the woman constable.
Meanwhile, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee chief Harjinder Singh Dhami objected to the video released by Kangana Ranaut and said that Kangana’s statement that terrorism is increasing in Punjab is an expression of her sick mentality.
He appealed to the prominent leaders of the BJP to teach Kangana a lesson of restraint and moral values. Meanwhile, on Friday, many lawyers of Punjab released a video and announced to fight Kulwinder Kaur’s case for free.
