Kanpur, February 23: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the formation of Purohit (priest) Welfare Board, due to which there was a wave of happiness among the saints and welcomed the decision of the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister has taken cognizance of the famous spiritual leader Shivakant Maharaj’s demand for beneficial suggestions from the priests.
The Chief Minister has announced the formation of Purohit Welfare Board and special scholarship arrangements in Sanskrit schools. The well-known preacher Shastri Shivakant Ji Maharaj has also announced to arrange special scholarship for all the students studying in Sanskrit schools to promote the Sanskrit language.
Meanwhile, Shastri Shivakant Ji Maharaj thanked the Chief Minister for accepting the demands in the public interest and for the formation of Purohit Welfare Board and for taking the decision of arranging special scholarships to the students of Sanskrit Vidyalayas.
He said that with this the Indian Sanatani culture can be re-established while protecting the culture and civilization.
