Kanpur, October 10: A day before the ‘terahvin’ of Kanpur’s property dealer Manish Gupta, who was killed in a police beating in Gorakhpur, his wife Meenakshi was handed over a letter of appointment for a government job in Kanpur Development Authority (KDA).
On Sunday, after reaching the victim’s house, BJP MLA Surendra Maithani and KDA officials reached her house with a letter of appointment to the post of Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the department.
The officers here have started the process of getting the appointment done soon after completing the verification regarding the educational documents today itself.
BJP MLA Surendra Maithani today reached the house of Gorakhpur incident victim Meenakshi Gupta at Barra. He was accompanied by KDA Additional Secretary Rakesh Sharma and Under Secretary K. CM Singh was also with him.
After reaching home, the MLA and officials handed over the letter to the victim Meenakshi for appointment to the post of OSD in KDA. The officials took all the educational documents of Meenakshi along with other information to get the joining done soon and started the process of preparing her report today itself.
Today in Barra, MLA Surendra Maithani, along with the officers of KDA, reached home with the appointment letter given by the government to Meenakshi Gupta, wife of late Manish Gupta.
Along with this, after getting her related documents to the officials, the verification process is being completed by them today itself, which will clear the way for the appointment on Tuesday. Meenakshi received the appointment letter and expressed her gratitude to the Yogi government.
The BJP MLA told that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has met the victim and according to her demands, all are being fulfilled. In this, the formalities of getting their jobs are being completed today. On Tuesday, after ‘Terahvin’ on Monday, a report is being prepared by the officers so that he can take appointment on the post of OSD in KDA.
On this occasion, along with the officers of KDA, Councilor Deepa Trivedi, Councilor Law Governor, Raja Pandit, Manish Awasthi, Satya Prakash, Mahesh Pal, Anil Nishad, Jamwant Upadhyay etc. were present.
