Kanpur, 28 December: Deepak Khemka, the famous industrialist of the city and the manufacturer of Shuddh Plus Pan Masala, has been threatened with death. He has been told on the phone that if he wants to do safe business, he should give money, otherwise he will lose his life. After receiving this threatening call, Deepak Khemka has lodged a report in Kohna Khana.
The manufacturer of Shuddh Plus Pan Wala, who lives in Parvati Bangla Road of the city, is counted among the big businessmen not only in the city but also in the state.
According to the complaint given by him, when he was going to his factory in his private vehicle on Friday, he received a call from an unknown person who told him that if he wants to do safe business, he should call back on the number given by him, but he did not do so. Meanwhile, he kept receiving calls from the given number. To which he did not respond.
However, after some time, when he spoke on that number, he demanded money. On which he said that I will not give you money. But this series of calls did not stop. Now he received a call from the third number, in which the caller threatened him saying that you have not done well by rejecting my offer. Now see what happens to you?
Since the matter is related to a big industrialist, the police has taken the complaint seriously. Kohna police station in-charge Awadhesh Kumar filed a case against the unknown caller and started investigating the matter.
On the other hand, when this matter reached the top officials, they also took cognizance of it. DCP Central Dinesh Tripathi said that the number from which Khemka was called is now switched off. The caller is being traced through the details.
However, in the initial investigation, it seems that this is a servant working with him is doing this kind of act to vent his grudge. Because some time ago he was fired from the job. However, the police investigation is still in progress.
