Lucknow, 08 July: A joint team of Lucknow’s District Administration, Municipal Corporation, Irrigation Department, Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) and Revenue Department reached Abrar Nagar and Rahim Nagar on Monday to identify illegal houses.
The officials in the team identified the illegal houses and prepared a plan of action against them.
Lucknow Development Authority is engaged in the drive to vacate the land of Kukrail river in Lucknow. A campaign was launched in Akbar Nagar to vacate the land of Kukrail river. As a result of which the entire Akbar Nagar was demolished. After Akbar Nagar, the turn of Khurram Nagar, Abrar Nagar, Rahim Nagar settled on the land of Kukrail river has come. In which the engineers of the irrigation department are helping the officials of the authority to identify illegal houses.
After the joint team of Lucknow Commissionerate’s police went to Abrar Nagar and Rahim Nagar, panic spread among the people there. Local people kept a distance from the officers of the government department.
Local people like Mohammad Wasim said that the identified houses will be demolished and the people living here will be given houses at another place. Still, those who were born in Abrar Nagar and are doing their work, why will they let their house be demolished.
