Lakhimpur Kheri, 06 October: The family of journalist Raman Kashyap, who was killed in the violence during the farmers’ agitation in the district, has received monetary aid from the government. His wife has been helped financially by handing over a cheque of Rs 45 lakh to his wife on Wednesday.
Earlier on Tuesday late night, a cheque of Rs 45-45 lakh was handed over by the district administration to the families of the farmers.
SDM Nighasan OP Gupta, Tehsildar and Police Officer reached the house of journalist Raman Kashyap on Wednesday. Here the administration has handed over a check of Rs 45 lakh to Raman’s wife Aradhana Kashyap. During this Raman’s father was also present.
During the incident, the father had alleged that eight people, including four farmers, were killed in the violence during the farmers’ agitation. His son was also involved in this. The marks of the vehicle and injuries were found on his body. The aggrieved father had demanded strict action against the killers of the son.
At the same time, the officials of the government and administration had assured the victim’s family that full justice would be done to them too. The assistance that will be given to the farmer’s family will also be given to them. Today, fulfilling that promise, he was also handed over a cheque of Rs 45 lakh in aid.
