Late Bollywood actor Dev Anand’s 73-year-old bungalow in Juhu has been sold. A 22-storey high tower will be built in place of this bungalow.
Dev Anand lived in his bungalow for many years with his wife Kalpana Karthik and their children Sunil Anand and Devina Anand. Now this bungalow has been demolished.
According to the information, Dev Anand’s bungalow in Juhu has been purchased by a real estate company. The documents of this bungalow have been completed.
It is said that this bungalow has been sold for around Rs 400 crore. A 22-storey high building will be built in place of this bungalow.
Dev Anand’s house was in a good location. There are houses of many big people near his house. Stars like Madhuri Dixit Nene and Dimple Kapadia also live next to his bungalow. So now Dev Anand’s bungalow has also been sold to a real estate company.
Dev Anand had bought this bungalow in 1950. In an old interview he had expressed his love for the bungalow. He had then said, “The house was built in 1950. At that time, Juhu was a small village and there was complete forest there. I built the house because I liked the forest here. I liked it because I was alone.”
