‘Librarian of 3 Idiots’ actor Akhil Mishra passes away, dies after falling in the kitchen of his house

New Delhi, 21 September: ‘3 Idiots’ fame veteran actor Akhil Mishra has passed away. Sixty-seven-year-old Mishra’s wife Suzanne Bernert confirmed this news while talking to the media. He played the role of librarian Dubey in the film ‘Three Idiots’.

Akhil Mishra was unwell for some time due to blood pressure related problems. He was trying to do something by climbing on a stool in the kitchen, when he fell and injured his head. Akhil Mishra, drenched in blood, was taken to the hospital, but despite the best efforts of the doctors, he died within a few hours.

His wife Suzanne Bernert was in Hyderabad shooting for a project at the time of the incident. There she came to know about the accident and came back to Mumbai. Sussanne is shocked by the sudden death of her husband.

Akhil Mishra also worked in films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Well Done Abba, Calcutta Mail and Shahrukh Khan’s Don. He also appeared in television shows like Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, Uttaran, Pardes Mein Mila Koi Apna and Shriman Shrimati. His wife, German actress Suzanne Bernert, worked in Accidental Prime Minister.

In an interview, she said, “Husband Akhil Mishra took a break from his career to help me learn Hindi, so that I could get better roles in films.
