Director of the Meteorological Department of Uttar Pradesh, JP Gupta told that the rain in western UP was due to western disturbances two days ago. There is a possibility of partly cloudy at some places on Monday, but the weather will be clear.
He said that a western disturbance is forming again, due to which there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms all over UP after two days. In such a situation, people need to be cautious from now on.
On the other hand, agricultural expert SK Agarwal apprised that farmers need to quickly harvest the Rabi crops. Farmers should not worry about vegetables and fruits.
He further cautioned that if it rains only then their crops will not be damaged but in case of thunderstorm, the chances of damage to fruits increase. In such a situation, farmers will have to be patient and should keep using pesticides lightly on fruits.
