Lockdown 4.O Day 7: Out of 1554 samples, 32 test +ve for Covid-19 in Uttar Pradesh, 7 patients from Lucknow

Lucknow, May 24: The process of surging of the number of Covid-19 patients continues in the state. In many of the swab samples collected every day in various laboratories of the state, infection is being confirmed.

In the Department of Microbiology of the King George’s Medical University (KGMU) of the capital, 32 of the 1,554 samples tested on Saturday have been reported positive on Sunday.

These include 10 from Hardoi, 07 patients from Lucknow, 06 from Moradabad, 04 from Sambhal, 03 from Shahjahanpur and 02 from Kannauj.

Hardoi patients include 20-year-old youth, 65-year-old male, 30-year-old male, 24-year-old male, 30-year-old male, 27-year-old male, 55-year-old male, 20-year-old male, 30-year-old male, and 50-year-old male.

Lucknow patients include 35-year-old female, 16-year-old youth, 27-year-old female, 42-year-old female, 29-year-old male, 27-year-old male and 24-year-old youth. Moradabad patients include 14-year-old girl, 15-year-old boy, 53-year-old male, 19-year-old youth, 35-year-old male and 35-year-old female.

Sambhal’s patients include 14-year-old boy, 24-year-old boy, 30-year-old male and 04-year-old girl child.

Among Shahjahanpur patients, 15-year-old boy, 20-year-old girl and 14-year-old child and Kannauj patients include 20-year-old youth and 50-year-old male.

Apart from this, many people have been found corona positive in the reports of other laboratories.

In Kasganj district, two more migrant labourers have been confirmed cases of coronavirus infection on Sunday. Now the number of active infected in the district has increased to 14.

Six corona patients have been found in Gorakhpur on Sunday. These include one Mohammadpur, two Guleria, one Lalpur Bansgaon, one Rampur Derwa of Barhalganj and one Belwa of Sardarnagar.

Apart from this, the report of a woman who is being tested at the Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital in Kanpur city on Sunday has come positive.

Another case was found infected with lethal virus in Etawah district. Its report came positive on Sunday. The 21-year-old, who lives in the city’s Mufti Tola, had come from a hotspot area in Delhi a few days earlier. The sample was taken two days ago, in which it was found positive. The total number of corona infected in the district has now increased to 35.
