Lucknow, June 15: The state’s Additional Chief Secretary Home Awanish Kumar Awasthi said on Monday that in view of the present conditions of Corona, the number of hotspots in the state has now increased to 2,300.
โAs many as 57, 97,808 people from 9, 82,435 houses have been identified under 792 of these hotspots. The number of corona-positive cases in these hotspot areas is 5,030,โ added Awasthi.
29.09 crore fine recovered so far in vehicle checking drive
He said that 1, 79,003 people have been registered under Section 188 by lodging an FIR against 65,335 people. So far, 55,542 vehicles have been seized in intensive checking drive out of 65, 46,248 vehicles in the state. A fine of Rs 29, 09, 49,966 was recovered during the checking operation.
921 FIR lodged in black marketing-hoarding
Awasthi added that in addition, permits for a total of 2,98,266 vehicles have been issued for essential goods services. As many as 327 people have been arrested, registering 701 FIRs against 921 people for black marketing and hoarding.
1,468 cases of fake news taken cognizance
He apprised that action has been taken under fake news taking cognizance of 1,468 cases so far. Today, taking 11 cases into consideration, cyber cell has been sent for necessary action. These include 05 cases of Twitter, 06 cases of Facebook.
โSo far, a total of 211 accounts have been blocked from Twitter’s 82, Facebook’s 81, Tik Tok 47 and WhatsApp’s 01 account. A total of 50 FIRs have been registered so far. 16 people were arrested in different districts.
Running of 94 community kitchens in hotspot areas
Additional Chief Secretary, Home said that milk has been distributed through 4,151 door step delivery milk booth-man in the hotspots in the state. A total of 5,827 vehicles for fruits, vegetables etc. have been placed in door step delivery. The number of provision stores with door step delivery is 5176. The number of persons who deliver through the Provision Store is 19604. There are a total of 94 popular community kitchens in hotspot areas.
336.65 million people are paid 336.45 crores
He said that a total of 33.65 lakh people have been paid Rs. 336.45 crore on the basis of Rs. 1,000-1,000 to 18.08 lakh workers related to construction works, 8.86 lakh labourers in urban areas and 6.71 lakh destitute persons in rural areas.
Total 394.90 lakh quintal wheat procurement
He informed that 1127 flour mills, 503 sesame mill, 332 pulses mill are being operated in the state.
He said that through the 5896 procurement centres set up in the state, 310.30 lakh quintals of wheat have been procured by the Food and Logistics Department, while 84.60 lakh quintals, 394.90 lakh quintals of wheat have been purchased by the Mandi Council.
