Lucknow, June 16: Additional Chief Secretary Home Awanish Kumar Awasthi said on Tuesday that in view of the present conditions of coronavirus, the number of hotspots in the state has now increased to 2,406.
โAs many as 54, 68,429 people from 9, 02,894 houses have been identified under 785 of these hotspots. The number of corona positive cases in these hotspot areas is 5,236,โ Awasthi briefed.
Rs 29.55 crore fine recovered so far in vehicle checking drive
He said that with this, 1, 79,860 people have been registered under section 188 by lodging an FIR against 66,209 persons. So far, 55,889 vehicles have been seized in intensive checking out of 66, 29,755 vehicles in the state. A mitigation fee of Rs 29, 55, 09,858 was recovered during the checking operation.
327 people arrested in black marketing
Awasthi further added that in addition, permits for a total of 2,99,250 vehicles have been issued for essential services. As many as 327 people have been arrested, registering 701 FIRs against 921 people for black marketing and hoarding.
1,477 cases of fake news taken into cognizance
He informed that action has been taken under fake news taking into cognizance of 1,477 cases so far. Today, taking a total of 09 cases into consideration, the cyber cell has been sent for necessary action. There are 05 cases of Twitter and 04 of Facebook. So far, a total of 211 accounts have been blocked in which Twitter’s 82, Facebook’s 81, Tik Tokโs 47 and WhatsApp’s 01 account. A total of 50 FIRs have been registered so far. 16 people were arrested from different districts.
88 community kitchens operating in hotspot areas
Additional Chief Secretary Home said that milk has been distributed through 4,172 door step delivery milk booth-man in the hotspots in the state. A total of 5719 vehicles for fruits, vegetables etc. have been placed in door step delivery. The number of provision stores with door step delivery is 5230. The number of persons delivering through the provision store is 10956. There are a total of 88 popular community kitchens in hotspot areas.
336.64 million paid to 33.66 lakh people
He said that a total of Rs 336.64 crore has been paid to 18.09 lakh workers related to construction works, 8.86 lakh labourers in urban areas and 6.71 lakh destitute people in rural areas on the basis of Rs 1,000-1,000.
Total procurement of 400.77 lakh quintal wheat
He informed that 1127 flour mills, 503 sesame mill, 332 pulses mill are being operated in the state.
He informed that so far 313.97 lakh quintals have been procured by the Food and Logistics Department, while 86.80 lakh quintals, a total of 400.77 lakh quintals of wheat have been procured by the Mandi Parishad through 5896 purchasing centers established in the state.
He informed that the rates of mandi have been reduced from 2.5 percent to 2 percent.
