Delhi, 16 December: The recent breach of Parliament security, where a group of men and women sprayed yellow smoke inside the Lok Sabha, was allegedly orchestrated with the intention of garnering media attention and forming a political party.
According to investigators, the key accused Sagar Sharma revealed during interrogation that their primary motive was to put forth their views and ideologies, which did not align with any existing political party.
Initially, their plan was to set themselves ablaze outside Parliament, but it was later abandoned in favor of a less violent approach. It was also reported that they had attempted to purchase a gel-like substance to avoid actual burning, but were unsuccessful in completing the transaction.
The group believed that creating a spectacle and gaining media coverage would be the best way to gather support for their cause and form a new political party.
