Kanpur, 11 May: For the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections, the series of election meetings will stop from late Saturday evening. Before which, State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a public meeting in Kannauj Lok Sabha constituency and sought votes for the BJP candidate.

He has appealed to the public to go to people’s homes and ask for votes for Modi ji and appeal that we want Ram devotees and not Ram opponents. After three phases of Lok Sabha elections, now the fourth phase of elections is going to be held on May 13. Due to which all the political parties have deployed their star campaigners for the last period of campaigning in all the Lok Sabhas.

On Friday, Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav from India Alliance had appealed to make the alliance win by holding a public meeting in Jhinjhak of Kannauj Lok Sabha.

On the last day of the campaign, BJP’s star campaigner and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the public meeting organized at Kariyajhala Tiraha Rasoolabad near Chandrabhan Degree College, Jhinjhak.

While addressing the public meeting, Yogi Adityanath first bowed to Dharmagan Baba. He said that this time 80 out of 80 seats have to be won from Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha elections. He said that if there is development, there is also heritage. Ram temple has been built in Ayodhya, more and more people have come to the temple.

“Today new Ayodhya is being seen. You have contributed in the construction of Shri Ram Temple, because you have formed the government of Delhi and Lucknow with your votes. This time also you have to contribute. This time, for the first time in 500 years, Lord Ram’s Surya Tilak has been applied. Our generation is lucky to have seen this sight. New India does not just talk, it shows by doing. BJP had said that Ram Lala, we will come and build the temple there, which we have shown by doing also,” he remarked.

Yogi said that SP opened fire on Ram devotees. “Now is the time to join Modi ji’s resolve. BJP’s resolve is for the country. The opposition wants power for its family so that it can fill its pockets. During SP’s time, there were riots every third day, no one was safe. Now sisters and daughters are safe in the new India. There is no place for mafias in the state. SP national president Akhilesh Yadav did not express any condolences on the death of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh, a great Ram devotee. When Mulayam Singh ji died, I myself went and the Prime Minister expressed his condolences. Akhilesh expresses his condolences towards the mafia and terrorists. On one side there are Ram devotees and on the other side there are Ram traitors who are conspiring against the country and you. We want to create a self-reliant and happy India by joining Modi ji. Your support is needed for prosperity everywhere in India,” he added.

Chief Minister Yogi took a dig at the SP President and the Indi alliance.

He said that since the alliance could not find any candidate in Kannauj, Akhilesh Yadav himself had to contest from here. During the SP government, they used to spread foul smell in Kannauj, at that time there were riots every day. There has been no riot or curfew in seven years under the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh. Today the country is progressing through one district and one product. Your blessings are needed to win 80 out of 80 Lok Sabha seats.

He appealed to all the people who came to the public meeting to go to everyone’s homes and ask for votes for BJP and appealed to the people that they want Ram devotees and not Ram rebels.
