Lucknow, 17 March: The Special Chief Judicial Magistrate (SCJM) on Wednesday sentenced five Bangladeshi nationals to four-year imprisonment. Also, a fine of five-five thousand rupees each has been imposed.
In May 2019, the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) team of Uttar Pradesh arrested five Bangladeshi nationals, Habiburrahman, Kamaluddin, Kabil, Zakir and Taizul, who had forged documents. Meanwhile, evidences of fake documents were found from their possession.
The ATS then produced these people before the Court where they have confessed to their crime.
On this, the court convicted the five Bangladeshi nationals under the 14 Foreign Acts and punished them with imprisonment of five-five thousand with imprisonment of four years each while the matter is under consideration in court against the sixth accused.
