Lucknow: AAP to launch membership drive from April 2

Lucknow, March 21: In the two-day review meeting of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Lucknow, on Monday, in front of UP in-charge Sanjay Singh, the workers demanded to run a membership campaign. In this, the workers unanimously agreed to start the membership drive from April 2.

In the two-day review meeting, today was the name of the Assembly Speakers, District Presidents. Keeping his words in front of the presidents, UP in-charge Sanjay Singh described them as the foundation of the party. Sanjay Singh asked the workers to be ready for the ordeal in the second phase of municipal elections after performing well in the first phase.

The AAP Party workers insisted on increasing the membership of the party before going to the municipal elections. Only then, April 2, the day of Navsamvatsar, was chosen for running the membership campaign. Aam Aadmi Party will further launch membership drive in every metropolis of Uttar Pradesh and continue it till the municipal elections.
