Lucknow, 01 May: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday launched the e-pension portal system at Lok Bhawan here. Now pension and pensioners related services will be managed through this online service portal. About 12 lakh people will benefit from this.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that he wished Happy May Day to all the workers and labours who contributed to the development of the state.
He said that Prime Minister Modi had called for using technology for a corruption-free system. The e-pension portal is a part of this. Today the full amount has been sent to the account of 1220 employees. Employees will get benefits in the coming time. The process will start six months before retirement. The process will be completed three months ago. Earlier everyone was worried. Right now the Finance Department has implemented the system for the employees. In the future, the police will also be involved. It is paperless. So you don’t have to rush. Therefore it can be said that the system of cashless transactions will also come to an end.
The Chief Minister said that this is not a pensioner โbhaogiโ rather a pension yogi is better because you have made your contribution. Good and positive thinking leads a person towards upgradation. A person working with negative attitude can neither do well for himself nor the society. He will always go down the aisle. With good thinking, the state government started the e-pension portal system.
He said that Deputy Chief Minister Keshav has suggested that the system of giving jobs to the deceased dependent employees along with dues should be implemented.
The Chief Minister said that work should be done in this direction at the level of Chief Secretary so that there is no problem for the deceased dependents.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also told that his government has started many schemes like insurance for workers and Atal Residential School.
The process will be completed in four stages
In four phases, the entire amount including pension will reach the pensioner’s bank account. For this, registration has to be done six months before retirement. Apart from this, many other facilities will also be given to the pensioner through this portal. The amount was transferred to the account of 1220 pensioners who retired on this 31 March. The Secretary of the Finance Department said that this is the first phase. Its second phase will be implemented in July. Many other facilities will be given in it.
On this occasion Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, Additional Chief Secretary Information Navneet Sehgal and others were present. Along with this, the officers of the districts remained connected through online medium.
