Lucknow: Construction of elevated road connecting to Kisan Path to start soon, informs LDA, IAS Vijay Kiran Anand new CEO of Invest UP

Lucknow, 09 April: Additional Secretary of Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) Gyanendra Verma said on Wednesday that the map of the elevated road connecting Kisan Path to the city has been prepared. This new elevated road will start from the left side of Polytechnic Square and will connect with Kisan Path near Indira Canal via Laulai.

LDA Additional Secretary said that preparations are being made to give responsibility to Setu Nigam to complete the 10 km long elevated road. The road map has been presented in front of the LDA committee and work on the elevated road will start soon. With the construction of the new elevated road, it will be possible to make traffic jam free for Ayodhya Marg.

The Additional Secretary said that encroachment has been found at 21 places on the ground floor from Polytechnic Square to Indira Canal. LDA squad has been instructed to identify this encroachment and remove it within a week. As soon as the encroachment is removed, the construction of the elevated road will be started without any hindrance.

IAS Vijay Kiran Anand becomes the new CEO of Invest UP

The state government has appointed 2009 batch IAS officer Vijay Kiran Anand as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Invest UP.

IAS officer Vijay Kiran Anand will replace IAS Abhishek Prakash. The government had suspended Abhishek Prakash on charges of demanding bribe from a businessman. Since then, this post was lying vacant. At the same time, IAS Rajkumar, who was Additional Director in the Panchayati Raj Department, has been put on waiting list.
