Lucknow, March 25: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has intensified the investigation in the case of IAS Abhishek Prakash and Nikant Jain demanding five percent commission on the investment proposal of setting up solar power plant from SAEL Solar P Six Private Limited Company.
On Tuesday, ED officials have obtained FIR report and other important documents from Lucknow’s Gomti Nagar police station in Nikant’s arrest case.
The Enforcement Directorate has increased its activity in the case of demanding five percent commission (Rs 350 crore) from the investor company and has drawn a blueprint of investigation.
In this case, Enforcement Directorate officials have obtained information related to Nikant Jain’s house and office from Gomti Nagar police station.
Apart from this, Enforcement Directorate is also preparing to investigate the properties of IAS officer Abhishek Prakash for eight years.
According to an officer associated with the Lucknow office of Enforcement Directorate, after obtaining the documents of Nikant Jain’s house and office, further investigation of brother Sukant Jain’s office will also be done. Investigation of the bank accounts of Nikant Jain and suspended IAS officer Abhishek Prakash is being initiated. Three officers have been appointed in the team to collect the details of the assets of Nikant and Abhishek Prakash. All the names associated with both of them are also being investigated.
