Lucknow, 15 August: A First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged against Neelkanth Sweets on the complaint of Additional District Judge (ADJ) Manjula Sarkar posted in Lucknow District Court. Her condition worsened after eating sweets from the sweet house. She fainted in the rest room of the court while her sister and maid also fell ill.
ADJ Manjula Sarkar, resident of Gomti Nagar Extension, bought 250 grams of Bundi laddu and other sweets from Neelkanth sweet shop in Vijay khand on July 31. After reaching home, she ate laddus with her sister Madhulika and maid Anita. The health of all three deteriorated. Some time after eating the sweets, all three started having stomach pain. They ignored this. The next day when she reached the court, she fainted in the rest room. She was admitted to Health City Hospital.
Meanwhile, the health of his sister and maid also deteriorated. The doctor said that they had got gastroenteric infection. Treatment continued for three days. Now the woman judge has filed a case against the Neelkanth sweet shop owner. The police is investigating the matter.
