Lucknow, 26 June: On the complaint of Darshita Srivastava in Hasanganj police station, a case has been registered against Sunrise Hospital for charging six and a half lakh rupees in the name of treatment. Adnan, a doctor of a private hospital, has been accused of overcharging in the past.
Accusing Dr Adnan of Sunrise Hospital, Darshita Srivastava has told in the complaint that in the name of providing various equipments and treatment facilities in the treatment of her mother, six and a half lakhs rupees were taken, but the bill was given only four lakh rupees.
On coming to know about the said case, she lodged a complaint with the concerned police station. In this regard, she is demanding the arrest of the doctor and wants a fair police investigation.
Inspector Yashkant, in-charge of Hasanganj police station said that in view of the current situation, investigation is being done. Any action will be taken only after a fair inquiry into the matter.
