Moradabad, 10 October: A nurse living in the nursing mess of a hospital located in the Civil Lines police station area of Moradabad had accused the neighboring nurse’s husband and the police head constable of making a video while bathing.
The Senior Superintendent of Police SSP Hemraj Meena has suspended the accused head constable and handed over the investigation in the case to SP City Akhilesh Bhadauria. On the other hand, the district hospital administration has ordered the families of the nurses living in the nursing mess to vacate the hostel immediately.
The victim, originally a resident of Badaun, is a nurse in the district hospital. The girl lives in the nursing mess located in the district hospital premises.
According to the girl, there is another nurse living in another room near her room in the hostel. Her husband is a head constable in UP Police and is currently posted at the Kotwali of Moradabad city.
According to the victim, there are common toilets and bathrooms for nurses in the mess. She was taking bath in the bathroom at around 7.30 am on Tuesday. Then the mobile phone and finger were seen in the window. After this she covered herself and went out.
The victim alleged that when she came out, she saw that the constable was also present in the toilet nearby.
According to the nurse, the head constable was pulled out by holding him by his T-shirt. Meanwhile, the accused deleted the video from the mobile. After this the victim informed other nurses living in the hostel. This spread anger among them and an uproar started. At that time the victim went to her room and called and informed her sister posted in Shahjahanpur. After the sister’s arrival, the nurse reached Civil Lines police station and complained about the incident to SHO RP Sharma.
As soon as the complaint was received, SHO RP Sharma, police outpost in-charge Saurabh Tyagi, Ramganga Vihar outpost in-charge Rajvender Kaur along with the police force reached the nurse hostel and conducted investigation. The police closely inspected the incident site described in the bathroom and toilet. After the incident, the police also called the wife of the accused head constable and interrogated her.
Head constable suspended till investigation is completed:
SSP Hemraj Meena said that the accused head constable Amit has been suspended till the completion of the investigation. The mobile phones of the accused head constable and his wife posted at the police station have been seized by the police and sent to the forensic department for investigation.
Meena added, the investigation of the entire matter has been handed over to SP City Akhilesh Bhadauria. Further action will be taken after receiving the investigation report.
Only children up to three years of age will be able to stay with the nurses:
In view of the anger among the nurses after the case of making a video of a nurse while bathing came to light, the district hospital administration has ordered the relatives of the nurses to vacate the mess immediately. Only children up to three years of age will be able to stay with the nurses. In this regard, CMS has also called an emergency meeting of nurses on Wednesday.
