Jalaun, 23 February: A retired teacher was hacked to death with an axe in Rampura police station area on Sunday morning. On receiving the information, police and forensic team reached the spot and started investigation. Police have sent the body for post-mortem and started investigation into the murder.
Vidyaram (65), a resident of Silauwa in Rampura police station area, was doing yoga on the culvert towards Bhimnagar as usual. During this time, the attackers attacked him with an axe on his neck and separated his head from the body. Due to which he died on the spot. Police believe that the killer had full knowledge of the teacher’s daily routine. Vidyaram Jatav used to run three schools in Bhimnagar.
According to the family members, in the year 2019, he had removed Ramkhilavan from the post of principal, due to which there was a dispute between the two. It is alleged that due to this enmity, Ramkhilavan along with his associates killed Vidyaram.
As soon as the information about this incident was received, Madhogarh CO Ram Singh reached the spot with the police team and took the body in custody and sent it for postmortem. Police have detained one accused, interrogation is going on.
