Lucknow, 15 December: A video of a constable misbehaving with a woman in Vijayanagar outpost under Krishnanagar police station area has gone public.
After taking cognizance of this, the Police Commissioner has suspended the constable.
ADCP South said that a video is becoming public on social media, which is of Vijay Nagar outpost of Krishnanagar police station area. Here a constable is seen talking rudely to a woman.
When this video was investigated, it was found that Sub-Inspector Ranjan Pratap Singh was posted at Sarojini Nagar police station. The constable is having a dispute with the woman regarding money. In this connection, both of them were called to Vijaynagar post. During the conversation, an altercation started between the two. The constable misbehaved with the woman, the video of which went viral.
Taking this into cognizance, the Police Commissioner has suspended the constable. Also, instructions have been given for departmental
inquiry.
