Lucknow, 09 May: The residents of Uttar Pradesh living in the industrial metropolis of the country, Mumbai, are now going to connect with their native home state.
Yogi government is going to set up a new office in the state capital. Its objective will be to make the residents of UP living in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, invest in their state, protect their interests and social security.
According to official sources, through this office proposed by the UP government under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, it will be possible to connect with all the residents of UP who have been living in Mumbai for a long time for jobs, business.
According to an estimate, about 50 to 60 lakh people of North Indian origin live in Mumbai’s 1.84 million populations of these, maximum number of people coming from UP. They have been living in Mumbai for a long time. From time to time, they keep coming to their homes in different districts of Uttar Pradesh.
In Mumbai, there is a remarkable contribution of the people of UP in many fields like industry, service sector, retail trade, transport, food business, factory or mill. There are many areas where they play a big role in the lives of the residents of Mumbai. In the field of industry and startup, residents of UP have done remarkable work in Mumbai. There is a big contribution of entrepreneurs of UP in industries like information technology, film, television, manufacturing, finance, food processing etc.
Along with this, a large number of workers from the UP are also working in Mumbai in the unorganized sector. In the last two years, due to the Covid-19 disease and further implementation of lockdown, a large number of them had to come back from Mumbai to their home state, and at that time, under a huge plan by the Yogi government, not only they were brought to UP safely but also sent to their home districts.
Through the proposed office, the migrants living in Mumbai will be made aware of the possibilities of investment in tourism, culture and other sectors in Uttar Pradesh and they will be motivated to set up enterprises here. Along with this, a friendly and attractive “Business Environment” will also be prepared here for them after consulting them. They will be told that there is a huge market and demand for their products or services in UP, due to which it will be beneficial for them to invest here.
For other workers, plans will be made for their benefit by this proposed office. With this, it will be easy for them to come to UP in case of any crisis and they can get work or employment here according to their experience and ability.
