Lucknow, 08 December: The Lucknow Police received a bomb threat over Dial 112 to blow up Hussainganj metro station, Charbagh station and Alambagh in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday night. In an hour-long search operation, the police did not find any objectionable object. Now the police is searching for the person who made a hoax call.
ACP of Hazratganj Vikas Jaiswal said that at 11 pm on Saturday night, a person called the police control room and threatened to blow up Hussainganj metro station. After this, ADCP Central Manisha Singh, ACP Hazratganj, Hussainganj Police, Bomb Disposal Squad and Fire Brigade team started intensive checking. No objectionable object was found at the station.
He said that the number of the person who threatened over the phone has been put on surveillance. The mobile phone is switched off. His location has been found to be Hussainganj. Police is searching for the youth who threatened.
