Lucknow, April 11: District Magistrate (DM) Lucknow, Abhishek Prakash has issued an order on Monday in view of the scorching heat and heat wave. In which it has been said that along with council, non-government aided, private schools, all recognized schools operating from pre-primary to class eight will also be operated from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm till summer vacation.
He said that during this time the students would be present in the curriculum till 12.30. Other activities of the schools can be done for the remaining one hour.
The said order letter has been sent to the District Inspector of Schools (DIoS), District Basic Education Officer, Divisional Assistant Director of Education (Basic), President Financeless Recognized School Association. The said order will come into force with immediate effect.
