Lucknow: Traders meet CM Yogi over GST mobile squad harassment

Moradabad, 17 April: The officials of Uttar Pradesh Udyog Vyapar Sangathan Moradabad unit met Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Thursday and submitted their demand letter. The traders of said in the memorandum given to CM Yogi that the GST mobile squad units in Moradabad are harassing the traders in the name of physical verification.

Vipin Gupta, Metropolitan Senior Vice President of Uttar Pradesh Udyog Vyapar Sangathan Moradabad, said that in the memorandum submitted to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he has said that the GST mobile squad units harass the traders in the name of physical verification. Despite all the documents being available with the goods, they harass and release the goods by taking convenience fee while there is no deficiency in the papers.

Apart from this, in the demand letter, the traders said that the traders registered in GST in Moradabad should be given priority in giving cheap licenses. There is a scheme to make Ayushman card on reaching the age of 70 years. In this, the age should be reduced to 60 years, no trader should be harassed in the name of encroachment in Moradabad district.

Among those who met Chief Minister Yogi were Uttar Pradesh Udyog Vyapar Sangathan Metropolitan General Secretary Sunil Agarwal, Metropolitan Senior Vice President Vipin Gupta, senior trade leader Ashutosh Gupta, Sandeep Gupta etc. During this, a brass statue of Ram Darbar made in Moradabad was presented to the CM as a souvenir.
