‘Maha-Suraksha’ plans for devotees at world’s largest ‘Sanatan Dharma’ event ‘Maha Kumbh’

Prayagraj, 02 December: A total of 56 police stations and 156 police posts are being built to strengthen the security of the city of tents to ensure the safe completion of the world’s largest ‘Sanatan Dharma’ event Maha Kumbh. However, no preparation was done from the security point of view before this.

Modi government of the Center and Yogi government of UP have increased the security by about 40 percent from the Kumbh Mela held earlier. This information was given by Kumbh Mela Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rajesh Dwivedi on Monday.

He said that an adequate police force has been provided to ensure the safe completion of the Maha Kumbh Mela with divinity and grandeur. According to the plan, 56 temporary police stations and 156 police posts are being set up with the aim of keeping the city of tents safe. More than 150 police personnel will be deployed in each police station, also 25 circles will be made in the entire fair area.

The Maha Kumbh Mela will run for 45 days from January 13, 2025 to February 26. Royal bath will be held on January 14, January 29 and February 3. A huge crowd of devotees is expected to arrive on this occasion.

The government has made extensive security arrangements from the security point of view. Apart from this, more than three hundred vehicles will be provided to conduct the Maha Kumbh Mela. During this time, the government does not want to leave any stone unturned regarding the safety of the devotees coming to the fair.
