Prayagraj, 27 November: To make the ‘Mahakumbh’ (gathering of pilgrims) grand and divine, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Prayagraj to take stock of the ongoing preparations. He unveiled projects worth Rs 237.38 crore for the Mahakumbh.
These projects include various equipment to make the Mahakumbh clean and safe as well as the newly built control room in the Municipal Corporation. Apart from this, the Chief Minister also benefited the ‘Swachhagrahis’ ( sanitation and cleanliness volunteers) and sanitation workers with uniform kits and life jackets to sailors along with various government schemes.
Earlier, CM Yogi also took stock of the development work going on at various religious places. It is noteworthy that the Yogi government is putting maximum emphasis on presenting the Maha Kumbh as a clean and safe Maha Kumbh. For this reason, work is being done on various projects here, which the CM himself flagged off.
Cleanliness and security strengthened Chief Minister Yogi unveiled the newly built control room for monitoring cleanliness projects in the Municipal Corporation office. Along with this, other projects and cleaning equipment were also inaugurated. The cost of all these projects is around Rs 14 crore.
Apart from this, CM Yogi unveiled other equipment (tipper, compactor etc.) worth Rs 50.38 crore in the program organized in Parade Mela area.
Not only this, the CM also unveiled equipment of fire, water police, radio, municipal corporation traffic worth Rs 173 crore. In this way, Yogi inaugurated projects worth Rs 237.38 crore for security, ‘Swachhagrahis’ and Ganga Sevadoots in Maha Kumbh.
CM Yogi unveiled various projects to strengthen cleanliness and security, while also benefited the ‘Swachhagrahis’ and Safai Karamcharis engaged in making Mahakumbh clean with various schemes. CM Yogi provided uniform kits to about 20 thousand ‘Swachhagrahis’ and Safai Mitras and life jackets to the sailors. Similarly, under the Swachh Kumbh Fund, more than 15 thousand workers (10 thousand personnel, 3 thousand sailors and others) were also linked to more than 5 schemes. Insurance certificates were also distributed to the workers under these schemes.
MoU transfer with Google for Digital Mahakumbh. CM Yogi also participated in the MoU transfer program of Mela Authority with Google. Under this agreement with Google, for the first time Google will include the temporary city being built for Mahakumbh in its navigation, so that the devotees coming here will play the role of navigation assistant in reaching the major religious places, ghats and akhadas in the fair area with the help of Google Map.
Also inspected development works Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also took stock of various development works. Apart from the program organized at Allahabad University, the CM also inspected the Ganga River Front, the dredging work being done in the Ganga River and the work of pontoon bridges.
In view of the Prime Minister’s program, he also went to inspect the proposed program site at Sangam Nose. Here he also provided necessary guidelines to the concerned officials.
